Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!!

Reet - I have checked and Sheena's show times are 2 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. on Saturday on Create and Craft!!

I'm in lurve with the seashells and the ICE silk - it is So versatile and adds a gorgeous bling.

Here's today's offering  - this is an 8 x 8 card to get an idea of scale.

The background is the non pretty side of Centura pearl which was stamped using the ICE silk as a resist - the colour is Adirondack Juniper with Stormy Sky and Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

The shells are stamped in memento and coloured with alcohol markers then the main scallop shell has been covered in ICE silk to add a subtle sparkle.( Hopefully it'll show up on TV if its shown as I am pants at capturing it on the pic!) Finally there is a little bit of sea glass embellishment.

I have seen some of my DT mates samples and they are truly incredible and the shows will be jam packed with demos so remember to set those recording devices folks.

Finally a thank you to 3 new followers and to the friendly folk on the Crafty Bloggers Network for their warm welcome!

Enjoy the shows

Heads up! Sheena alert launching this Friday 2 p.m. on Create and Craft!!!

Evening all!

Bit late to the party to spread the word about "wor Sheena's" launch on Friday of 2 more amazing stamp sets AND the most gorgeous new SILKS - a transparent, blingy and beautiful acrylic paint - without fail the DT are in lurve!

Do I need to say that the A5 sheets are choc full of stamps?  The images are fabulous sizes and I was lucky to have one set of the glazes to play with - set 7 (though I think I may NEED to get the rest!

So onto a sample then: I  have decided to share this card as it majors on the versatility of the Silks. I have used them just swiped across Centura pearl card on the background as a sparkly resist. the snapdragon colour was used to stamp the shells ( I then over-stamped with black Stazon - Sheena's clear Rock- a - Blocks make that easy) The larger shell was stamped on acetate and the silks used to add colour on the reverse. Trust me I am just scratching the surface on these little pots of magic!

The stamps are gorgeous too - more tomorrow and you can find more on my Dteamies blogs - click here to go to the links for everyone.

There are shows on Saturday too - I will post the times as soon as I know them

Till tomorrow , keep safe and warm

Wor Sheena - tomorrow 9a.m. and 2 p.m. folks

Evening all! Did you know "wor Sheena" is back tomoz? 2 fab shows at 9a.m. and 2 p.m. so if you're on half term and the weather is frightful it would be rude NOT to watch wouldn't it? ;-)

Here are a couple of cards made after the last show: The first is a homage to one that Sheena created and the second my spin on a card by fellow inkoid Kim Bacon.

Hope you enjoy the show and are equally inspired!

OK own up.. who fast forwarded October??

You know how suddenly you turn round and  a whole month is on the verge of disappearing? Me too! ( and I REFUSE to contemplate how close we are to Christmas!!)

Back in the summer I had the pleasure of meeting the talented Sandra Edwards the lady behind the Fabulous Shoes and Fabulous Fashion CD's from Katy Sue Designs.  I finally had a little me time to have a play with the new CD and some lovely stamps of hers: very cute and perfect for a little girls birthday who's into all things mermaid!

Back soon - in the meantime enjoy the extra hour in bed as the clocks go back!

Well, tomorrow's the Day - Join Sheena at mid-day for the Pick of the Week!

Well, it is finally here chums! The amazing oriental collection launches tomorrow at mid-day on Create and Craft. As well as the gorgeous stamps and folders I hear that there are some mega deals on Spectrums and possibly the e-bosser too - but you may have to be quick!!

Today's card uses all of the above! The background is the fabulous A4 Sakura folder used with Centura Pearl (on the wrong side). The lanterns and blossom has been embossed onto Crafters Companion heat resistant acetate. I used the spectrum noirs to colour the acetate on the right side. Then I turned it over to stamp the blossom detail on the lanterns using a black stazon and finally backed the embossed images with a layer of white acrylic paint . That's it!

Sheena's samples and those of the DT are amazing - if you want a look head over to the Gallery on Crafters Companions website here

Enjoy the shows

Penultimate day of sneak peeks ahead of Sheena's PICK OF THE WEEK!!

Well, hot of the press is the news that the "pick of the weekend" has morphed into a pick of the week!
So far the known show times are:

Friday 20 September 12 p.m., 3p.m. and 5 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Sunday 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Monday 4p.m. and 7p.m.

So this means many more demos and tips from Sheena!!! Happy days hey?

Today I am sharing a card which has the most gorgeous sentiment " In the cherry blossom's shade there is no such thing as a stranger." Just lovely. The card itself has been made using the A4 maple leaf folder , a selection of the papers and the bird stamp from the Silhouette stamp sheet. The topper ( which is a shaker) has been made by cutting away the teal background on the paper.

The Jersey Boys was great fun last night  . As you can see my pal and I were both grinning like crazy in this post show snap taken by my hubbie! To quote "Oh what a night!" December 63 :-)

Till tomorrow xx

Sneak Peeks Day 2 ... just 2 more to go before lift off!

Hi All

Thanks for all the feedback - you certainly seem to be loving the Orientals range! Very quick post from me as off, up town, to see Jersey Boys with hubbie and best pal from  Oz, YAY! Today I thought I'd share this... something very different to yesterday's card but the friend theme seemed appropriate!

All the papers are from the paper pack ( I said they were lush didn't I? But then I am a sucker for that teal colour.) I love the coin stamp and well, that cherry tree was just crying out for flowersoft! The fan embellie is made from the papers and using my trusty Ultimate Pro!

Hope you like and hope you popped over to see my DT pals cards too. (click here for links to the Inkoids Hall of Fame!)

Till tomorrow

Happy Monday...well it might be!!

Evening all!

Have I got news for you? Well - yes as it goes, I have! This week our Sheena will be working her little cotton socks off for a 3 day extravaganza in TV land on Create and Craft - this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Stars of the show will be a brand new, most awesome, set of stamps WITH embossing folders AND papers and a special something else too!

The DT's samples are, quite frankly, AMAZING and well worth a trip here  to Sheena's blog to pick up all their blog links and have a nose.

I have SO many lush samples to share but, where start? This might be a good place as it combines stamps, folders and speccies amongst other things and, apart from the ribbon, it is all part of the new launch.

The background is embossed and debossed mirri using a lush A4 folder- with a spectrum noir tint and the topper - well, what fun! There are 3 layers of acetate: Layer one - spectrum noir background. layer 2 2 embossed koi - painted on the reverse with Dragons Dance Primary elements and the final top layer is embossed acetate  with gorgeous water ripple folder 7 x 5". I think it gives the impression that the fish are in the water.

I can't wait to share more with you each day this week and work love to know what you think

Laters ;-)

My little up-cycled Christmas Box

Hi guys

This post is primarily for a couple of people who asked how my little Christmas box, below was created.

I used:
"From our home to yours stamp" Sheena Douglass Winter Sketchies series
Pebeo High Viscosity acrylic paint - white
Pebeo Mat Gel
Pebeo Black Gesso
H2O's Carnivale set
Pebeo Bindex
Fantasy paints
Spectrum noirs

Acetate, and a box (in fact its an i- pod box that I decided to give a makeover!!

How I did it:

1. Cover box in black gesso - leave to dry and meanwhile
2. Take sheet of acetate and using cool set fantasy paints cover the acetate with your choice of Pebeo fantasy prism and moon paints - Put to one side to do its thing and dry ( about 24 hours)
3. Cover stamp with black Stazon: Mix equal parts white acrylic paint and mat gel and using palette knife fill stamp generously  and leave to dry ( also 24 hours).

After 24 hours:

4. Carefully peel stamp away to reveal house embellishment. I used a couple of blue spectrum noirs to add shading.
5. Use sponge to dab box  top and base with H2O's to create a marbled effect - I used Teal, Mediterranean and Meridian from the Carnivale set
5. I used a little Pebeo Gliding Wax in Silver on the edges and corners of the base. ( Tip: when dry I sprayed inside of box lid and base with Spray and Shine to seal it and prevent any scratches)
6. Stick house embellishment to lid using Bindex. I added a bit of Pebeo Modelling Paste mixed with a little H2O's at the front like a snow drift .
7. When  lid is  dry  - I used a  Versamark pad and UTEE to cover lid top ( mine has 5 layers of UTEE)
8. Finally cut 4 panels from the fantasy paint covered acetate and stick to the sides of the lid using bindex.

So there it is ... my little Christmas box!

Hope this is clear - however any questions let me know and I will try my best to answer them.

Love n stuff

OMG!!! Sheena's new stamps are FLYING!!!

Good morning all..

Phew, just caught Sheena's first show on Create and Craft! (She's on again at 4 p.m. but what will be left???) However the Magical new stamps are on Crafters Companions site  together with the spectrum noirs that I used in this sample.

Today I thought I'd do a quick "how to" on the Spectrum Noir background I used for this card as its one of my favourite techniques:

The card is made using Neenah card and this is the how!:

First choose the Spectrums you want and a refill bottle of blending solution and scribble random blocks of colour

Now - here's the technical bit...
 - drop the blending solution onto the scribble until you are happy!

Trim the card and darken the edges with a bit of distress ink (Chipped sapphire or black soot or both together works well!

Finally you might even want to bling it up with a little Luminarte Pourable!! (I used Egyptian Gold)

There  you have it ...simples. To complete the card I embossed that gorgeous bird of prey with black embossing powder  and used a little more  blending solution to lighten the wings together with a little white acrylic paint. The card was finished using some ribbon and  a sentiment,  the ink well and feather on shrink plastic...

Do hope this was of interest  - have a great day xxx

We have show times!! Next sneak peek of Sheena's New Stamps

Hi Guys

Reet, show times on Thursday 22nd August on Create and Craft are 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. so now you can set recording devices or annex the remote control!

Been a busy little day today so I am going to jump right in and share my next sneak peek. This one is a bit of fun and was a last minute addition to my samples: It is using elements mainly from the Honesty and Knowledge stamp sets. It has all been done on black card and using just  3 main H2O's :Ocean Wave, Mallard Green ( from Basic Rainbow Set)   and Sandollar (Shades of you set).

So here it is... a homage to Diagon Alley perhaps?? ;-)

Apols for the slightly dodgy pic - it was late at night ( well very early in the morning!)

Tomorrow I am (currently ) planning to share a card with a short "how to" for a spectrum noir background... as its a while since i have done one and it is such an effective technique!

Till then chums

Sneak Peek number 3 Sheena's Magical stamps

Well, good evening!

Create and Craft are still keeping the actual show times a closely guarded secret - perhaps they fear the website will melt down under the rush to get this gorgeous collection or that there may be no stock left for the shows !!! Rest assured i will let you know as soon as I hear and in the meantime just keep  Thursday free ;-) !!!

A quick post tonight and an alternative version of Honesty - really these stamps are very versatile! In the background you will see an enchanted door, leaves, honesty and a quite wonderful mushroom stamp (fly agaric unless I'm mistaken!!)

So here it is with one of my favourite distress ink backgrounds and a figure painted using H20's.

I do hope you love this collection as much as I have

More tomoz !!

Day 2 Sneaky Peaks - Sheena's Most Magical stamps

Morning on this lazy Sunday morning: Day 2 sneak peek....

Well, show samples are almost done ahead of Sheena's shows on Create and Craft next Thursday 22nd: Still no times as yet - but I will post them as soon as they are available.

I have been having a bit of a straighten up as only a 6" square of my desk  remained visible and I had got to the stage of being unable to see things ; you know that - "but I was just using the (scissors, dusty concord ink pad, glue syringe)." ,"It was just in my hand.", "It must be here ..." , "Someone MUST have moved it..." despite the fact NO-ONE else would dare to enter unless bearing coffee, chocolate or cake... (Not necessarily in that order or separately!)

I would say tidy up but that would be a lie... and to quote Harry Potter "I must not tell lies." ( Anyone else watch Order of the Phoenix last night?)

Anyway enough of this "punch drunk with card making" meander and onto today's card!

Made with the Sheena's new Honesty stamp set I LOVE the serenity and medieval look of this woman: The iridescent dress is fusible fibre and seems to work well with the auburn locks!  The background is distress ink on centura pearl card and pewter pourable  - very mystical!!

Whatever you do this Sunday have a good one

Mystical , Magical: Sheena sneak peeks

My goodness - time is flying by! I am delighted to be able to share some sneak peeks over the next few days from THE best ever new stamps from Sheena: Think Magical, Mysterious, Mystical , White Queen feel :-). The set is 4 A5 plates and like all of Sheena's stamps they work wonderfully together! Look out for Sheena's show on Create and Craft this Thursday 22 August.

I thought I would start with the chalice; this is a BIG stamp ( 4" tall) and one of many sentiments. The background is another of the stamps, a rose briar corner overstamped on a Sheena style distress ink and pourables background  ( heads up they are on special offer currently with Crafter's Companion)

So a quick, dramatic easel card - alternative wedding or anniversary card perhaps?

Let me know what you might use the chalice for :-). More tomoz

Have a chilled weekend

Tomorrow is officially the start of your crafting Christmas!

Morning folks! Key info first: Sheena's new Christmas collection of gorgeous stamps will be on IDEAL WORLD at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. tomorrow.

Reet now onto sneak peeks part deux! Today we have the heart felt set - these are fab and look out for the most adorable gingerbread man with this set!!! I have used a couple of the other - equally  cute stamps- felted heart and bird which are on the same set.

This second card using the same set could be Christmas but I think would work for other occasions too. I had great fun making the springs with my coiling gizmo for the boingy birds!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas ( well that's more probable than an English Summer!)

Enjoy the shows tomorrow xxx

Warning Snow in Summer Alert!

Morning peeps - well most of you will know that for a crafter now is the time to get Christmassy and this year is no exception. Wor Sheena  has only been and gone and done it again with another new collection for Christmas 2013 ( I may be biased but this is now my favourite Christmas set! ) There are  6 A6 stamp sets and soooo yummy.  Sheena's shows are on IDEAL WORLD  Wedneday 19th at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. so get those recording devices primed!!

I have a couple of sneaky peeks for you today: Here are this mornings showcasing the first 3 gorgeous stamps. The first is this lovely Cosy Christmas cottage . I love it when a I can use just one distress ink ... no prizes for guessing this is Chipped Sapphire!

The second card is using  Santa's snowy season - the snowy aperture was using the snowy corner on the Cosy Christmas stamp above  and the ribbon - yep that's a stamp too!

Finally ( for now)  a cup of Christmas Cheer ... I can definitely smell the cinnamon!! I really love this vintage Christmas palette created with iced spruce, worn lipstick and antique linen distress inks and, guess what? Yep,  that snowy corner stamp  made another appearance !

I adore these stamps ( can you tell??). Finally a quick reminder that if you would like to get your mitts on Sheena's stamps before they are launched the DT call out for Sheena's DT is open for just 3 more days. If you click here it will take you to our facebook page and you can find out how to join in!!!

Back later with another sample to share

Day 2 in the Inkoid lab... We spot a sneak peek lurking ahead of Sheena's show's tomorrow...

Yep... a nod to BB: I don't know why - my mind wanders sometimes- I REALLY shouldn't let it out on its own!!

Day 2 and a little sneaky peek ahead of Sheena's shows on Create and Craft tomorrow at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. It incorporates acrylics , over-stamping with those fab clear rock-a- blocks and, my still my favourite little discovery, a fuchsia moulded from the stamp using Stazon, Matt medium and white heavy body acrylic paint!
So without further ado here it is:

The base of the topper is the pretty side of Centura Pearl covered in black gesso - criminal I hear you shout but it really makes a lovely surface to work on. I then dry stencilled the Pebeo DYNA iridescent paints through a mask ( soz, can't remember whose it is) and added 3 triple bow butterflies made with the CC ultimate pro. The moulded fuchsia also got a coat of black gesso and a shine of Pebeo gilding wax - yummy! The Pebeo Bindex was brill to stick it to the card!

The show is gonna be FAB -U- LOUS! (as Craig Revel Horwood  would say). Make sure you have set record or booked the remote! See you tomorrow!

Now onto a little sneak peek - Wor Sheena has 2 shows this Saturday on Create and Craft at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. They are a real cornucopia of delights - something for everyone - so Sheena may be busy with the demo's! For today's sneak peek I have really mixed it up a bit with a mixed media canvas that incorporates the poppy paint fusion stamps, centura pearl, Pebeo black gesso, bindex and texture paste and gloss gel, exestencils, embossing and the gorgeous Pebeo renaissance gold  gilding wax to name check a few. Phew, a bit of a list for an 8 x 8 board!!

So here it is:

I rather like my midnight poppies :-) and would love to know what you think?

My first craft fair adventure and news of a DT call out.

Morning all and another grey and damp day it is too! The front porch has sprung a leak and I am studiously ignoring this and just seeing it as karma's way of watering the dollar plant that stands there... Hey ho.

So, onto other things : I mentioned that I did my first craft fair  a couple of weeks ago. Apart from being very nervous it was great fun! Here's a couple of pics of the stall:

The craft fair was in a local church hall  with about 20 stalls with quite a variety. I was initially worried about a very large Phoenix card stall a couple of metres away but turns out the customer base for handmade cards is different and, thanks to some advice from a seasoned crafter, I didn't even attempt to compete on price.

What I learned was the prep takes quite some time!!! Oh the joy of making inserts, finding ( or in some cases making) matching envelopes, cursing about non standard size cello bags and dilemmas on what to charge!!! Nonetheless I don't think it looked too shabby in the end!

For a quiet day ( it rained!!) things sold well; particularly the vases and the larger cards. The other stall holders and the organisers were a lovely, friendly group. I am delighted to be doing a stall at their Autumn fair on October 19th too!

Now onto another bit of news... you may have missed a call out for 2 new Inkoids to join Sheena Douglass's Design Team - The call out is open until June 20th and it is easy to join in.. please have a look, The link will take you straight there.

Have a warm and cosy day xxx

Moi? A little bit daffy? You betcha!

Morning all!

and as we sail into the last bank holiday weekend until August  I am greeted by grey clouds and drizzle...lovely! So, I thought I would brighten things up with a host of golden daffodils courtesy of Sheena's GORGEOUS new stamps and a supporting cast of clear rock -a- blocks. So here goes:

First off a daffy canvas  with a touch of the old paint fusion and some over-stamping and embossing courtesy of the clear blocks - Just a bright and cheerful  bit of wall art.

Second a card : This time the delicious daffs have been coloured using watercolour pencils  and triple embossed. The smaller tiles are distress inks over-stamped with Luminarte Pourables. I even managed to capture the bling in the picture so you can imagine how blingy it is in real life!

Finally a reminder that  you can catch Sheena's shows on Create and Craft tomorrow at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. - guess I'll be doing the weekly supermarket shop at silly o'clock so I am back in time to watch ( oh my life is SUCH a social whirl - ;-))

Have a great bank holiday weekend!

Such a busy month and its Sneaky Peek time!

Well, wow, what a busy month May is turning out to be! I have LOADS to share; my first craft fair, my first DT retreat with "wor Sheena"  and my fellow Inkoids :-) AND new stamps that launch on Saturday  on Create and Craft :-)  Can't possibly do it all  in one post so will start today with some Sneaky Peaks!

Sheena's new stamps are just gorgeous! If you jump here onto Sheena's blog  you will see all the new stamp plates and they are lush!

My first sneak peak is from the beautiful Violets plate. Not only do you get that GORGEOUS main image but also the art nouveau style swirls and a fabulous bee but more of that later! The card is very blingy as twinkling H2O's were used to paint the embossed image and background ( the Passion set  with the addition of Oyster and Alfalfa). The swirls and wording are Dusty Concord distress ink. This card would not have been possible for me to create without the use of a brand new product , CLEAR rock-a-blocks from Crafters Companion. It is fair to say I lurve them so thanks Sheena and Sara Davies!! They made the shadow stamping and over-stamping with clear embossing powder a doodle - so happy camper !

Thanks Goph for the pic x
I have a second sneak peek as Crafter's Companion UK kindly showed my  Tropical Hibiscus card on their Facebook page yesterday and I promised Shana Brennan that I would explain how I made it; so here goes Shana!
Add caption
The flowers are embossed using WOW black embossing powder on Crafters Companion heat resistant acetate. Turn the acetate over so you are working on the back and using H2O's colour the stamen, then add the pink (I used either plumeria or pink azalea, and a bit of tanzanite). There is no need to mix them with a binder this time because when they are dry cover the whole of the back with white acrylic paint . I used Pebeo's free flow formula applied with a sponge but any will do - this just dries quickly. When dry cut them out .

The background is Centura Pearl ( the wrong side!). First add a couple of random strokes of white emulsion to act as a resist. Then cover in a wash of  covered in a wash of  Luminarte pourables ( I used the Citrus Punch set;  one drop of pink grapefruit and one of sunburst.)  The shape is the largest Resplendent Rectangles ( Spellbinders). This was then matted onto black mirri card. Finally I used Collal 3 D Gel glue to attach the blooms and some green ribbon. Finally I drew on the birds using a black micron pen- phew!!

Hope this was of help Shana? Don't forget Sheena's shows  are at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday on Create and Craft. More sneak peeks and news tomorrow

Sneak peek - mixed media and wor Sheena :-)

Well, afternoon all!

What a difference a day makes - gone are yesterday's blue skies and grey and rainy is the order of the day. Hey ho at least there is no excuse for not getting on with the cards for the craft fair on Saturday.

If you live locally the Spring Craft Fair is at Holy Cross Church Hall, Adela Avenue Motspur Park from 2 - 5 p.m.  I have been before as a supporter and spent far to much money  with the talented folks who were there then.

But, onto the main purpose of this post - to share a mixed media canvas  made with Sheena's Paint Fusion Stamps and the Pebeo Acrylics and Mediums.

The whole canvas
The background was stippled and then the lilacs done with the heavy body white and the colour pounced in with the end of a palette knife. The lilac leaves were painted paint fusion style. The bark is more mat texture medium and Pebeo gilding was with a wash.  The ivy is moulded using the PF stamp and half and half heavy body white and matt medium. The bird and swirls are a stencil.

Close up of lilac
Finally for those not interested in canvases the paints work brilliantly on cards too. A simple strip of colours topped with Sheena's paint fusion poppy stamp that has been embossed in black onto white card!

If you have enjoyed these please pop along to my fellow design team members who have some amazing and different samples to share

Di -
Tracy -

So finally show times are 8 p.m. and 2 p.m. tomorrow on Create and Craft - see you for breakfast ;-)

Sheena shows on CC This Thursday

Just changed my "Morning All" greeting to "afternoon"...where'd the day go? Not mentioning a whole week!!

Anyhow just thought that I would dash off a quick post about Sheena's shows on Thursday ( that'll be the day after tomorrow then!!) on Create and Craft at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.  The show will feature mixed media and some well know paint fusion stamps - I have to say I really enjoyed making the samples.

A couple of offerings today; the first was a large cork board  prettied up with a bowl of paint fusioned flowers... then I set about prettying up the pins using the daisy stamp printed on acetate and painted using the new acrylic paints

and the roses - some direct on cork and some on acetate
A close up of the daisy pins.

The second sample is an 8 x 8 canvas using the sunflowers and acrylics which was fun. The words are a few random rub ins that I found in the stash.

I have my very first craft fair this Saturday - it is a local one but boy, am I nervous... more on that and another sneak peek tomorrow. Till then enjoy the sunshine..I hear the weather is going to change tomorrow!!

Faux Gelli Plate - Photo how to..

Well, afternoon all

Thanks for the comments here and on facebook about yesterday's card . As promised today's post will be a "photo how to.." to achieve this result. Trust me it is straightforward :-).

You will need:
One unloved tan embossing mat
A brayer
Stamp of choice and rocker block
Mixing palette
Spray bottle of water
Primary elements and the powder binder*

I have found that the key to this technique is  to work fairly quickly and to get the consistency  of the paint right.  It is worth getting everything ready as you will want to work quickly once the paint is mixed.

Using the bigger end of the scoop in the Primary Elements kit  measure out roughly half a scoop of pigment to a generous scoop of binder and add about 9 drops of water  - mix well to a syrupy consistency.

Lightly and evenly spritz a bit of paper with water and leave it to one side whilst you drop paint on mat and spread it out using brayer.

Stamp into "paint" firmly and cover with paper, spritzed side down.

2 quick light but firm passes of brayer and peel away immediately and done!

And finally add a light coat of spray and shine to seal it.

As you can see I road tested this several times hence the different colours in the pics ;-)! Spritzing the paper with water and getting the consistency of the paint right will ensure that the paper peels off easily. However if it does stick ( and a couple of mine did initially) just rinse the mat with water to clean it and start again!!

*The powder binder in the primary elements kit is gum arabic powder which is widely available.

Don't forget to watch Sheena's shows tomorrow on Create and Craft at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Have fun playing :-)
