Spectrum Noir have a great blog hop running and the chance to win a fab prize!!

And more impressively I managed to figure out how to add their blinking blinkie to my blog!! Yay its the little things that make me happy! Whilst I'm here I will share a recent card made using a technique that I picked up watching Sheena - distress ink and water and Luminarte and part of the French cafe tree stamp teamed with Josephine Wall decoupage from Joanna Sheen Have a great Saturday... I am looking forward to tomorrow when I get to play with Sheena at her Milton Keynes workshop :-) xxxx

Yes, something to look at other than the football!

Good evening... well I managed to catch Sheena's show but now have had to relinquish the remote for the football.... As always Sheena was an inspiration and tomorrow 10 a.m she is doing a show with the new silhouette stamps - there is a gallery of great cards on her blog ( and I can say that without appearing boastful as none of them are mine!)

Anyhow back on topic ... the stamps are great and I thought I would chose one from each of the new sets so here goes:

Have a great evening and don't forget to watch / set your recorders for Sheena's shows on C&C tomorrow x

Lazy Sunday afternoon

What is it about Sunday afternoons? Its as if you automatically hit sleep mode! So as fingers are barely working I thought I'd just post a couple of short and sweet final sneak peeks ahead of Sheena's shows on Create and Craft on Monday and Tuesday.

The first card is using just 2 stamps from Sheena's new silhouette stamps and gilding flakes thought you may spot a Sheena embossing folder in the background

and the second is a quick make again using a Sheena embossing folder and direct to paper technique...

A have peaceful sleepy Sunday! xxx

Good morning!

Well, here at least the rain has stopped and I can confirm that I definitely wasn't the £64 million pound euro-million winner! Never mind - today's card is using one of Sheena's new silhouette stamp sets which has 13 separate stamps including 2 word stamps and the new set definitely will be a winner!

I had a bit of a play here decoupaging stamped images and setting it in a 7" x 6.5" x 1/2" box made on my trusty ultimate pro and then all mounted on an 8 x 8 card. Its certainly different!

Sheena Silhouette stamps launch Tuesday 12 June on Create and Craft

My second card  has been made using another of Sheena's fabby embossing folders. The scroll has been embossed  on black glossy card and then smudged with inka gold. The pansies are from Sheena's Paint fusion stamp set  using gilding flakes .

Hope you approve - have a crafty weekend! xx

Rain Pah! New Sheena lovelies

Well I have been working my crafty fingers to the bone playing with some brand spanking new silhouette stamps from the lady herself, Sheena D.  I say "working" but you know what I mean! They are gorgeous and launch on Create and craft on Tuesday. Before that, on Monday, Sheena will be demoing her embossing folders and they all work "oh so perfectly" together.

As I made LOADS of cards I've decided on 2 sneaky peaks ( because 'they're worth it'...who says advertising slogans don't work!)

Without further ado: Sneak peek 1 with new  silhouette stamps embossed in black on acetate with splotchy acrylic paint in the back:

Sheena silhouette stamps - acetate and acrylic
and sneak peek 2, using the gorgeous daisy embossing folder and paint fusion daisy stamp
