One more day, one more day!!!!

So - my final "snorky porks" ( oh I am going to miss all the Allo Allo references - happy days) of the new plates by Sheena Douglas that will be on your screens tomorrow on C&C. To celebrate  I decided to showcase a card from each new plate. I also thought I would pick a couple that showcase some of the other images on the plates . The first is using images from the 50's plate and it is unashamedly 50's in style:

A sentiment and a teacup - simples :-).

For the second from the Bonsoir plate what could be more fitting than to say "Cheers" using the bottle of wine!

So Bon Sante ma leetel chums, have a fantastic weekend and- if you happen to spy "the fallen Madonna with the big boobies" you know what to do!!!

Bon nuit ma leetel chums!

Just a very quick sneak peek from me today - it has been all go so thought I would wake the eyeballs up with a fun bright and breezy design using Sheena's new 50's plate that launches this Saturday on C&C.

The images are stamped onto Neenah using archival black and just three flexmarkers for a bit of POW!

Have a lovely evening xxx

Day 3 Sneaky Peek... half way to lift off!

Good morning
Firstly may I take a moment for your lovely messages here and on FB - they are genuinely much appreciated, thank you x

I have cogitated over today's post - another gorgeous little café or 50's retro yumminess I just couldn't decide. So being the queen of compromise ( I am, honest - just ignore anything to the contrary that people may tell you!) I decided to do one of each:

Card one: The 50's café gets a Mediterranean overhaul but I like the retro simplicity of this: Aged mahogany distress ink and just a hint of blue watercolour and a bit of distressing in tumbled glass and stormy sky on the edges.
cafe Sheena's 50's stamp plate
Card two: Another card and a different café and this time with the wonderful bicycle stamp both from Sheena's Bonsoir plate. Again the images have been stamps with Aged Mahogany distress in and a little colour added using watercolour on the flowers. The sentiment is from the 50's plate.

Cafe and bicycle from Sheena's Bonsoir plate.
If you haven't already do have a look at Sheena's blog where there are more gorgeous images and the brilliant narrative from Gopher is definitely worth a read and chortle over

Have a wonderful Wednesday xx

Bonjour! 50's retro funday

Ooooh! I really liked playing with the stamps that created today's sneak peek of Sheena's new stamps that launch on Saturday on C&C. It is absolutely crammed with separate elements and just screamed 50's dinner service to me. Reflecting those wonderful monochrome images I kept colour to a minimum and like my favourite images slightly off set the colour ( No, this was deliberate I didn't just miss and colour over the lines LOL!)

The images are stamped on to a 6 inch circle of centura pearl (t'other side) in archival black, the shadowing was using my grey speccies and the colour is watermelon and chartreuse flexmarkers

It is a bit different but I hope you approve...?

More tomorrow!

Bonsoir et bonne sante

I promise to drop the bad 'Ello, Ello French ! Well time for a blogging frenzy as "our Sheena" prepares to launch her latest, most delectable stamps! You are in for a treat - I would love to break the DT code and post ALL the samples at once - but somehow I suspect that would be a bit of a "Silly Billy" thing to do... or would it???!

No, I must play nicely - ( I will say however there are absolutely tons on the plates - 21 stamps in total!!)

Today's sneak peek from me is a leetle (sorry) French café: the café, grape vine, wine bottle and glass, and bicyclette (again sorry!) are all separate stamps.

For this card I used Neenah card and embossed the images and et voila! ( I will stop now...)

All always any comments much appreciated

Merci beaucoup!
